Roll for initiative!
We love coming up with other things to do with the reclaimed wood that we collect, besides our furoshiki handles. One idea that came naturally was a dice tray, so we could store our dice and have a built in rolling tray. The original all wood ones were nice, but a bit thin, and lacking a certain something, but after discussing them with other gamers, we decided to take them up a notch - thicker wood (even if it means gluing up new pieces), deeper slots, a space for a mini, and somewhere to keep a notepad and pencil, so that everything you need is there ready to go!
We're really pleased with the result, and we hope you'll like it too. The only downside is that we work in off cuts and reclaimed wood, and nice thick chunks of wood aren't a regular occurrence, so we can only make these when the right bit of wood comes in. If you like them, though and we're sold out, keep an eye on the site, we'll add more as we make them, and who knows what they'll be made from? Mahogany, oak, beech, sourcing wood is like a box chocolates... :P We've been dabbling in gluing up smaller offcuts into large pieces as well - some old garden furniture milled down into some nice, striped acacia blocks, something quite special, and something we'll definitely be doing more of in future.
